Summer Wrestling

This summer the wrestling staff at CHS will be using 10 contact days over a two week span in June and July. Wrestling Review 2014-15 – BLUEPRINT

Wrestling was the other winter sport with a permanent coaching change. James Abshier took over for Clayton in 2014-2015. The wrestlers were led by senior Jared Garrett. 3 Wrestlers Earn All Conference

The Suburban Central Wrestling All Conference Team has been announced and 3 CHS wrestlers have been recognized. Sophomore State Qualifier Michael Painter was named a 2nd Team selection at 106 and Senior Jared Garrett was on the 2nd Team at 220. Junior Parker Ross was named Honorable Mention  at 145. On Wednesday night the Hounds hosted their first home Suburban Central Conference match. The team continued to improve as they went 8-2 in their 10 matches versus McCluer South Berkeley and Parkway Central.
