Clayton Greyhounds Varsity Nabs Win Over Pattonville Despite Early 3-Run Inning
Even though Clayton Greyhounds Varsity gave up three runs in the fourth inning, they still defeated Pattonville 7-4 on Monday. The big inning for Pattonville came thanks to a single by Logan Bozich, a groundout by Drew Fowler, and a double by Thomas McFarland.

William Laakko pitched Clayton Greyhounds Varsity to victory. He went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out five. Tyler Sucher threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Sucher recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Clayton Greyhounds Varsity.
Zach Williams was on the hill for Pattonville. He surrendered five runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out four. Terry Millikan threw one inning in relief.
Henry Keil went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Clayton Greyhounds Varsity in hits. Keil led Clayton Greyhounds Varsity with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with five stolen bases.
