Girls Basketball Review 2014-15 – BLUEPRINT

Under a new head coach and a new Conference, the Greyhounds continued their success, despite playing a tougher schedule. Steve McFall took over as the head girls coach after Heath Kent moved away. The girls were led by senior captain Reeves Oyster. Oyster was the team’s only senior and was given honorable mention All-Conference honors.

Girls Lacrosse Wins Again

The CHS Girls Lacrosse team had 7 players score goals in a 14-4 victory over Notre Dame High School on Monday afternoon at Gay Field. Micaela Stoner led the way with 3 goals and an assist. Erin Elliott, Natalie Miller, Sydney Vellacott Linda Kim, and Reeves Oyster all scored twice as the Greyhounds improved their record to 5-2.

Baseball to Play In First Ever Conference Tournament

The Clayton High School Baseball team will compete in their first ever conference tournament. The Suburban Conference went through a re-alignment process over the last couple years and this is the first year we have played in our new conference. Lacrosse Finishes 3rd With Win Over Ladue

The Girls Lacrosse Team capped off a successful weekend with a 12-10 win over Ladue in the 3rd place game of the Kirkwood/Webster Tournament on Saturday. Girls Swimming Review 2014-15 – BLUEPRINT

Despite a temporary coaching change, Greyhound swimmers excelled in 2014-2015. With coach Katelyn Long out on maternity leave, Dave Kohmetscher took the reigns and Jill Allen was the assistant coach. The team was led by promising freshman Gracie Morris. Morris was the only Clayton swimmer to finish top 8 at Conference in two individual events.

With an abundance of talent, the Greyhound boys’ basketball team was not quite able to capitalize. The team went 11-15 and fell in the first round of Districts. Girls Soccer Falls 1-0 After Rain Delay

The girls soccer team fell to Rosati-Kain Thursday night 1-0. The Lady Hounds started off the game with great offensive pressure, but could not find their stride after a long weather delay. Water Polo Wins at Pattonville

The CHS Water Polo squeaked by Pattonville on Thursday by the score of 8-7. Henry Brown continued to lead the Greyhound scoring by netting 3 goal. Andrew Littekin chipped in with 2 and Jaime Befeler made 12 saves in goal. The Greyhounds are now 2-1 on the young season.

Girls Lacrosse Tops Holt 13-3

The CHS Girls Lacrosse team raised their record to 3-1 for the season with a 13-3 victory over Wentzville Holt Wednesday at Gay Field. Grace Harrison continued her scoring spree with 3 goals and 3 assists to lead the Hounds. Anna Ilivicky also netted 3 with Natalie Miller, Reeves Oyster, and Linda Kim each scoring twice.
