Girls basketball – A Note From the Staff 1/17/2017

Good morning, Here is what’s happening this week with girls basketball: Tuesday, 1/17 – practice after school Wednesday, 1/18 – Games at Parkway West.  JV plays at 4:30.  Varsity plays at 6:00.  The bus will leave right after school for both teams Thursday, 1/19 – practice after school Friday, 1/20 – Games at Ladue.  JV

CHS Academic Support – 2.0 Minimum GPA

As we approach Spring Sports we will have a new group of athletes participating in athletics and we want to remind ALL athletes of our academic support program. CLAYTON vs. Ladue – FRIDAY 1/20/17

Wrestling Tournaments CANCELLED

The Varsity wrestling tournament at St. Charles and the JV tournament at McCluer North have been cancelled for this weekend. These tournament will not be rescheduled. We will however look to fill out our schedule with an additional tournament or dual/tri before seasons end to fill this void.

Rotating 8 Finals – POSTPONED

Due to the forecasted inclement weather moving into the area the final round of the Rotating 8 tournament will be postponed to a future date. We have been in contact with all the schools and working to finalize a date that works for everyone. Stay tuned for more information next week as we hope to

Athletic Information for Curriculum Night

Coaches vs. Cancer

This year’s Coaches vs. Cancer games will be Friday, January 20th at Ladue High School. Captains’ Council will be selling t-shirts for $15.00 and pink memorial ribbons for $1.00 during all lunches this week. Admission to the games next week will be $2.00 and you MUST show your i.d. to get the student rate, Adults

Millett and Sams Too Much for Villa

Congratulations to the girls varsity basketball team on their 45-39 road win over the Saints of Villa Duchesne last night. The Hounds got out to an early lead, but the victory was still hard-fought.  With the win, the team improves their record to 9-2. Leading the way for the Greyhounds were the senior post players.
