Spring sports are heading into their final chapter as we have already had Senior Night celebrations, Conference Tournaments and started preparing for District play. Today, Friday 4/26/19, marks the biggest athletic event of the 2018-19 school year with the running of the 86th Marion Freeman Invitational. Coach Marion Freeman enters his 60th year as the meet director and has been the heart and soul of our track program here at CHS since joining the district in 1958. We usually average around 50 schools with 1,000 participants and it truly is a hallmark event. This year we have condensed the meet into a one day meet and will run on Friday ONLY because of the forecasted weather on Saturday morning. It’s a great time of year to catch a game and cheer on the HOUNDS. For more info on Clayton athletics click here.
